Willow Creek School

Hello, my name is Eleanor (Elly) Summers. I have taught in Willow Creek School since 2017. I was born in Bozeman, MT in 1978 and moved away for a bit then, I came back in middle school. I left again after high school and came back in 1999 to attend college at MSU-Bozeman. I currently live in Manhattan, MT with my two daughters and I’m here to stay. I started originally as a Graphic Design major, then went on to complete my Bachelors in Fine Arts. I then added an Art Education degree with a minor in Art History. I wasn’t done yet. I recently added my Math Endorsement and took Graduate level classes. I am currently three classes away from having a Master of Science in Mathematics. My goal is to make Math fun. Math is all around us! I want students to recognize math in the real world and become productive adults.  All things in life require a little work and I know that my students can be successful in math, just like anything else, it just takes practice. I strive to be a lifelong learner.
