Subject: Important Class Notice Regarding Settlement Agreement
Dear Student, Parent, or Legal Guardian,
All school districts in Montana are required to send the following information to students, parents and legal guardians. This information is not specific to Willow Creek School District.
“A Montana Court has authorized distribution of the attached Class Notice to all students and their parents or legal guardians to inform you of the attached settlement agreement reached between the Montana Office of Public Instruction and the ACLU of Montana to resolve class action litigation.
Please review the attached Class Notice and settlement agreement carefully. The Class Notice contains important information about the litigation, settlement, and any rights or options available to class members. The settlement agreement is attached so you may review its full terms. If you have questions about the Class Notice or the settlement agreement, please refer to the contact information provided in the attached Class Notice. Please do not contact the district or schools regarding the Class Notice or the settlement agreement.”
