We are having our annual community/parent/student/staff Meet and Greet potluck BBQ August 30th 5:30 - 7:30 @ the school. The school district will provide the burgers, hotdogs and drinks. Please bring a side dish of your choice! Come and meet the teachers and have a tour of the school. Everyone welcome!!

Students grades 5-11, are being issued a band shirt for the Spring Concert 5/23. Each shirt is numbered and checked out to specific students. Please return the shirts Wednesday and the school will launder them all together and store them.

The highly anticipated SPRING CONCERT and ICE CREAM SOCIAL will be happening in the gym! The ice cream social is $1 per bowl as a music fund raiser.
ALSO - there are 2 envelopes with 3 day passes to Rockin' the Rivers that will be silent auctioned off after the concert. Biding will begin at $200 after the final performance and be open for 30 minutes. The proceeds will be split between the music department and the Junior Class. One other basket of prizes with miscellaneous gift cards will also be available to bid on.
We hope to see a big crowd for this Willow Creek School highlight. Our band rocks!!!
Students grades 5-12 who are going on the half day field trip tomorrow to The Flying Giant Adventure Park must log into www.flyinggiantadventurepark.com and sign the parent waiver for jumping. It is $15 per student plus $4 for jumping socks if needed. Please remember that there are student field trip scholarships if cost is a burden. Call or stop into the office!
Grades K & 1 will be going on a short adventure after lunch to Ms. Bonnie's house to see the new foals and puppies, followed by a stop at Ethenoz's to see their pony foal and mini cows.
This will be a REALLY BUSY LAST WEEK at school.
This afternoon is the wrap up of the after school program! We hope all the elementary kids enjoyed this great opportunity :) The track and field day yesterday was a great success! Thank you for coming out and cheering on the kids.

The elementary track meet will start @ 9:30 AM this Wednesday! This spring weather has been typical track season weather! The forecast is calling for 40% chance of rain in the morning, so bring your umbrellas for the AM and hopefully sunscreen for the PM :) Fingers crossed that between today and Wednesday the forecast improves!
We will have concessions with limited choices.
Variety of muffins, nachos, hamburger/cheeseburger, hot dogs, chips, sports drinks, limited soda, water, popsicles, and candy. Proceeds from concessions will go to playground upkeep.

The Pot Luck Awards Banquet for grades 7-12 will be Tuesday, May 16th @ 6:00 PM and our elementary track and field day will be in Willow Creek May 17th @ 9:30 AM. There will be concessions available including burgers and hot dogs @ lunch time.
